Temporary appointment at the Elysee Palace – Who is the new government spokesperson?
Mathieu Lefèvre, France’s Minister Delegate for Ecological Transition, will temporarily serve as the official spokesperson for the government.
TodayPress TV reports that the information was published by the “Le Parisien” newspaper.
He will replace Maud Bregeon, who is going on maternity leave.
According to the publication, Lefèvre will assume the duties of government spokesperson for six weeks while retaining his current position. The Elysee Palace stressed that this is not a personnel change within the government, but a temporary redistribution of responsibilities.
