Russia threatens Japan with bombing, says Tokyo will hear Moscow's message
Japan's Terra Drone supplying unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to Ukraine has heightened tensions between Moscow and Tokyo.
TodayPress TV reports that Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has threatened Japan with retaliatory measures.
She said Moscow had sufficient means to respond to Japan's actions.
Zakharova also reiterated Russia's position that facilities involved in weapons production in Ukraine are considered "legitimate targets" for Russian strikes.
"I think they will hear us in Tokyo," the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said.
Following Terra Drone's announcement that it was supplying drones to Ukraine, Moscow adopted a strongly critical stance toward Tokyo's move. However, Russia has not yet specified what concrete measures it intends to take against Japan.
