Members of the Asian Development Bank's Board of Directors visited ADY
Members of the Board of Directors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) visited Azerbaijan Railways CJSC as part of their visit to Azerbaijan, TodayPress TV reports.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on the existing cooperation between Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) and the Asian Development Bank, the development of transport infrastructure, projects being implemented in the railway sector, and opportunities for future cooperation.
ADY representatives briefed the guests on the development of Azerbaijan's railway system, modern solutions applied in passenger transportation, and the work being carried out to improve service quality.
It was noted that ADY consistently works to strengthen the country's transport connections, implement sustainable and digital transport solutions, and provide passengers with comfortable and safe services.
Afterward, the members of the ADB Board of Directors used ADY's passenger services and departed by train for the city of Ganja.
The visit was particularly significant in presenting Azerbaijan's railway infrastructure and the modern approaches applied in passenger transportation to international partners.
