WhatsApp to suggest sharing recently taken photos and videos
WhatsApp is developing a new feature that will suggest users share their recently taken photos and videos in chats.
TodayPress TV reports that with the update, a thumbnail of the latest image in the user’s gallery will appear above the message input field when they open a chat.
By tapping the image, users will be able to edit it, add text or stickers, or choose not to send it.
The feature is currently being tested among Android and iOS users.
Those who do not wish to use the feature will be able to disable it in the app’s settings.
