Another US drone shot down

Iran has announced that it has shot down another unmanned aerial vehicle belonging to the United States.

TodayPress TV  reports that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said a US MQM-170 reconnaissance drone had been shot down over Qeshm Island.

According to the statement, the unmanned aerial vehicle was neutralised using electronic warfare systems. With this incident, Iran claims that the number of US drones it has shot down has reached five.

It should be noted that the claim is currently based solely on Iran’s statement and has not been independently confirmed by the United States.
