Will Russia solve Iran’s gas shortage?

The construction of gas pipelines between Russia and Iran has been discussed.

TodayPress TV reports that Iranian Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Rezaei made the statement to journalists following his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to him, the meeting also covered the post-war situation and regional security issues.

Rezaei noted that Putin had condemned the strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities and expressed readiness to provide all possible assistance to end the war.

He added that the construction of pipelines to transport Russian gas to Iran was also on the agenda. The initiative aims primarily to address Iran’s gas shortage and enable Russia to sell its gas to neighbouring countries.
