What does Zelensky want from the US? – He discussed everything with Rutte

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte to discuss Russian strikes, Ukraine’s defense needs and preparations for meetings with US representatives.

Zelensky said that he and Rutte share the same assessment of the need for progress in the diplomatic process. According to him, the meetings scheduled for the coming days could be useful.

The Ukrainian leader also thanked partners for their support in addressing the funding shortfall in the defense sector.

Rutte, in turn, briefed Zelensky on his contacts regarding funding for the PURL program and the provision of the necessary missiles for Ukraine’s Patriot air defense systems.
