Putin will not be invited to G20 summit - London officially announces

Russian President Vladimir Putin will not be invited to the G20 summit scheduled to take place in Manchester in November 2027.

TodayPress TV reports that , British Prime Minister Andy Burnham made the announcement.

According to the prime minister, the current sanctions imposed on the Kremlin rule out the Russian president’s participation in the summit. However, Russia may be represented at the international gathering by lower-ranking officials.

Burnham also confirmed that the United Kingdom would continue providing military and financial assistance to Ukraine until the war with Russia comes to an end.

In addition, London is ready to deploy its troops as part of a peacekeeping force if an agreement to end the conflict is reached.
