“Drone army” being built in Germany for Ukraine
The German-American defense company Auterion and its Ukrainian partner in the Airlogix joint venture have begun serial production of more than 5,000 long-range combat UAVs for Ukraine near Munich, TodayPress TV reports, citing DPA.
According to the report, the first UAVs have already been produced. The German government’s order is expected to be completed by mid-2027. Sources in defense industry circles estimate the value of the contract at around €300 million. The UAVs are being supplied as part of Germany’s military assistance to Ukraine.
