Trump’s threat to “bomb the hell out of it” affects Oman

Oman has rejected Iran’s proposal to jointly collect service fees from vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz, TodayPress TV reports, citing The New York Post.

According to the report, Muscat also rejected the idea of voluntary payments for ensuring security and protecting the environment in the Strait of Hormuz in an effort to avoid a confrontation with US President Donald Trump.

It should be recalled that on August 17, Trump expressed dissatisfaction with Oman’s actions and threatened to “bomb the hell out of” the sultanate if it obstructed efforts to resolve the conflict between Iran and the United States.
