Russia rejects Ukraine’s warning

The Russian Foreign Ministry has denied a statement by the Ukrainian authorities that Russian airspace is dangerous.

TodayPress TV reports that Russia has sent an urgent appeal to the Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Montreal regarding the matter.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said it had categorically rejected NOTAM notices issued by the Ukrainian authorities alleging that the airspace of the Russian Federation was dangerous.

The ministry stressed that the information circulated by Ukraine regarding the safety of Russian airspace does not reflect the truth.
