Will Armenia impose visas on Russian citizens? Zakharova responds
The possible introduction of a visa regime by Armenia for Russian citizens would be a move directed not against Moscow, but against Yerevan itself, TodayPress TV reports.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova made the remarks while speaking to journalists.
“If Armenia suddenly introduces visas, it will do so not against us, but against its own citizens,” she said.
Zakharova stressed that such a decision would also affect Russian citizens who have a large number of relatives in Armenia.
