The death toll from severe floods in Nepal has reached 1,127, TodayPress TV reports.
China Central Television reported this, citing Nepalese police.
According to reports, around 4,500 people are considered missing.
The floods were recorded following a powerful natural disaster that struck the country on August 26. An earthquake and landslide in Tibet blocked the Lhende River. The sudden release of water later caused a sharp rise in the water level of the Bhote Koshi River.
According to the report, 592 citizens of 39 countries are also among those missing.
