Pakistan’s prime minister to Azerbaijan: “We are always by your side!”

November 8 was a historic testament to the courage, determination and sacrifice of the Azerbaijani people, who managed to restore the country’s territorial integrity after nearly three decades.

TodayPress TV reports that Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wrote this on his official page on the social media platform “X”.

“On the sixth anniversary of Victory Day, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to my dear brother, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, as well as to the brave and brotherly people of Azerbaijan. Pakistan was proud to stand by Azerbaijan during that period and will always support it. The Victory Day parade held in Baku last year, which I had the honour of attending alongside President Ilham Aliyev, visibly demonstrated the unbreakable bonds of friendship between our nations”,- he noted.

The prime minister also wished Azerbaijan further development and new achievements, and expressed his hope that the South Caucasus would move towards lasting peace and shared prosperity.
