Germany’s Alternative for Germany (AfD) party is planning to organise a trilateral summit between Russia, the United States and Germany without Ukraine’s participation.

TodayPress TV reports that the French newspaper “Le Monde” published the information.

According to the report, although Germany is one of the largest donors providing assistance to Kyiv, the AfD advocates the immediate restoration of relations with Moscow, particularly economic ties, and the unconditional lifting of sanctions against Russia.

Markus Frohnmaier, one of the deputy chairmen of the party’s parliamentary group in the Bundestag, said the summit was planned to take place in Abu Dhabi in the spring of 2027.

According to party representatives, they maintain good contacts with both the US State Department and advisers to President Donald Trump, as well as Russia’s Foreign Ministry and Presidential Administration.
