North Korea fires 10 ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan
North Korea has launched approximately 10 short-range ballistic missiles toward the Sea of Japan.

The missiles were reportedly launched from an area on the outskirts of Pyongyang. South Korean authorities said the military is on high alert and is monitoring North Korea for possible additional missile launches.
Experts are examining the technical characteristics and flight range of the missiles. Following the incident, Seoul and Washington have strengthened intelligence-sharing efforts regarding the missile launches.
