Iran sends message to US: “We are developing new weapons”

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that Iran is developing new weapons for the country’s defence.

TodayPress TV reports that IRGC spokesperson Hossein Mohebi made the statement.

According to him, Iran’s Armed Forces are constantly increasing their combat readiness and developing new weapons to protect the country and its people.

“We are constantly increasing the combat readiness of our armed forces to protect our people and our country. This is a message to the American people,” Mohebi said.

It should be noted that on September 4, US officials said the US military could strike an alleged nuclear facility beneath Mount Pikaks in Iran.

On September 14, US Energy Secretary Chris Wright said Washington was ready to provide Iran with nuclear fuel if Tehran abandoned uranium enrichment.
