Strait of Hormuz in turmoil: US “Remus 600” drone falls into Iranian hands

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has seized a US-made “Remus 600” autonomous underwater vehicle in the Strait of Hormuz.

TodayPress TV reports that this is already the second US-made drone seized by Iranian forces.

“During a complex operation carried out using electronic warfare equipment and intelligence, IRGC Navy forces managed to seize an advanced drone belonging to the US Armed Forces that was conducting espionage activities in the Strait of Hormuz. The ‘Remus 600’ underwater vehicle was taken as a trophy and is now in the possession of specialists for data extraction,” the IRGC said in a statement.
