Airport alarm: Passengers urgently evacuated
A bomb threat alert has been declared at the international airport in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova.
TodayPress TV reports that Moldova’s Border Police announced the evacuation of passengers and airport staff in connection with the incident.
According to the report, check-in procedures for flights have been temporarily suspended. Specialized units of the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs have been deployed to the scene.
The authorities have warned of possible flight delays and changes to flight schedules.
