Meeting held between the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a closed-door meeting in Turkmenistan following the Caspian Summit.
TodayPress TV reports, citing Kommersant special correspondent Andrey Kolesnikov, that the meeting took place.
The meeting had not been announced in advance and lasted approximately 15 minutes. Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov arranged the meeting. During the closed session of the expanded meeting of CIS heads of state, he spoke separately with Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev about the matter.
It should be noted that the Armenian prime minister did not attend the Caspian Summit but waited until the event had concluded to meet with Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev.
