Reports that a passenger plane flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv had been hijacked have been denied.

TodayPress TV reports, citing the Israeli media, that the aircraft was not hijacked. The incident involved an altercation among members of the crew that turned violent.

It was reported that the pilots got into a physical fight with each other on board the aircraft. As a result of the incident, the plane issued an emergency signal and its flight path was changed.

According to the information, the aircraft landed at one of the airports in Saudi Arabia.

Initially, citing Ynet, it was reported that the plane had been hijacked and diverted to Saudi Arabia. It was also reported that more than 150 passengers were on board and that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz had convened an emergency meeting over the incident.
