Sensational claim about Erling Haaland’s future!
Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are exploring the possibility of signing Manchester City striker Erling Haaland in 2027.
TodayPress TV reports, citing TEAMtalk, that both Spanish clubs believe the Norwegian forward could consider changing clubs next year.
Haaland signed a new nine-year contract with Manchester City at the beginning of last year. At the time, club sources said that all clauses concerning release fees included in his previous contracts had been removed from the new agreement.
However, sources close to Barcelona and Real Madrid claim that certain provisions remain in the Norwegian striker’s contract that could potentially allow him to leave the Etihad Stadium.
In addition, it is reported that Haaland and Manchester City’s management have an agreement that the club will review his situation if the player feels he needs a new challenge. In other words, the club will not automatically rule out such a possibility.
For now, however, Haaland has no specific desire to leave Manchester City. Despite the persistent reports linking him with the Spanish giants, the Norwegian remains fully committed to the Manchester club at present.
