Zelensky’s “countermove” against Russia’s plans – Ukraine changes its defence system
Ukraine will increase the procurement of electronic warfare equipment and reorganize the operations of mobile fire teams.
TodayPress TV reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made the statement.
“I held a meeting. Among the key issues were contracts for the production of systems to protect critical infrastructure and logistics. We conducted a detailed analysis of the needs of Ukrzaliznytsia, the network of fuel stations, and certain critical enterprises that are particularly important targets for Russian strikes,” the head of state said.
The President also spoke about the results of a briefing by the intelligence agencies. According to him, it has been determined what the Russians are focusing on in their confirmed plans.
“There are defence decisions related to this. In particular, we will significantly strengthen the electronic warfare component and increase the volume of procurement; the contracts have been approved. The operations of certain mobile fire teams and air defence positions will also be reorganized,” Zelensky’s statement said.
