Will Turkey Travel to Yerevan? Ankara Confirms Participation, While Baku Has Yet to…

Turkey will be represented at ministerial level at the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17).

TodayPress TV reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made the announcement during a briefing following a government meeting.

He said he was aware of Turkey’s participation but had not yet received official confirmation regarding Azerbaijan’s attendance.

The prime minister also noted that more than 15,000 people were expected to arrive in Armenia in October for COP17. In his view, this would also have a positive impact on the country’s international recognition.
