The United States has reportedly increased military aviation activity in areas near Iran, while the possibility of a large-scale military operation in the region is being discussed.

TodayPress TV reports that posts circulating on social media suggest that bomber aircraft, surveillance flights and intensified air activity could indicate preparations for a possible military escalation.

According to these claims, potential US military action against Iran is linked not only to regional security but also to the global energy market and the international standing of the US dollar.

It is suggested that a confrontation could escalate further if the United States attempts to eliminate the influence of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps within the country. However, no concrete information has been provided to substantiate the claim that the US has deployed all its heavy weapons to Iran’s border.

The Strait of Hormuz is also at the centre of the discussions. It is emphasised that potential tensions along this strategic route, through which a significant share of global oil shipments passes, could affect energy prices and international trade.

It is also claimed that Iran is demanding that oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz be settled in Chinese yuan. According to the authors of these claims, implementing such a mechanism could weaken the US dollar’s position in oil trading. However, reports of a demand to settle all oil shipments in yuan have not been independently verified.
