UN Secretary-General arrives in Armenia
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has arrived in Armenia to attend the Leaders’ Summit to be held as part of the COP17 conference.
TodayPress TV reports, citing Armenpress, that the UN Secretary-General’s plane landed at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan. He was welcomed at the airport by Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
The COP17 Leaders’ Summit will take place on October 16. The conference itself will begin on October 19 and continue until October 30.
