Trump bars major media outlets from White House access

US President Donald Trump has announced that CNN, MS NOW and Politico have been barred from access to the White House.

TodayPress TV  reports that Trump justified the decision by saying that these media outlets had repeatedly published “fake news.” He also said that other media organizations could face similar restrictions.

In a post on the Truth Social platform, Trump wrote that the media outlets in question had published “fabrications and lies” about the US president, his administration and the country.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan had previously objected to a report published by CNN about the war in Iran. Azerbaijan’s Media Development Agency described CNN’s report alleging that Israeli forces had used Azerbaijani territory during the war with Iran as “fabricated” and demanded that the broadcaster withdraw the report and apologize.
