Iraq is continuing its investigation into the strike carried out against Saudi Arabia.

TodayPress TV reports, citing foreign media, that Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani said there is still no final conclusion as to who was behind the incident.

According to him, a joint commission established by Iraq and Iran is investigating the matter, and the findings obtained so far are currently being analyzed.

The Prime Minister noted that they do not want to draw premature conclusions about the incident before reliable information is obtained. Once the investigation is complete, its findings will be made public jointly with the Iranian side.

Al-Sudani also said that Iraq plans to diversify its oil export routes. He noted that the country has long relied primarily on a single route for exports. Under the new plan, part of Iraq’s oil would be exported through Türkiye, another part through Syria, and the remainder via the Mediterranean Sea.

The Prime Minister added that Iraq intends to increase oil sales to European and US markets.

He also stressed that there is particular interest in German companies operating in Iraq.
