Another drone enters Moldova after Romania: Who does it belong to?

Another unmanned aerial vehicle violated Moldovan airspace during a Russian military attack on Ukraine’s Odesa region.

TodayPress TV reports, citing Moldova’s Ministry of Defence, that on September 17, the drone entered Moldovan territory from the Odesa region and flew back toward Ukraine shortly afterward. The side to which the drone belonged was not disclosed.

According to the ministry, the unmanned aerial vehicle crossed Moldova’s border at 08:56 from the direction of the Ukrainian village of Bilyaivka and headed toward the village of Tudora. At 08:58, it left Moldovan airspace near the village of Palanca and flew toward Ukraine, in the direction of the port of Davydiv Brid.

The incident occurred amid intensive attacks by Russian forces on southern Ukraine, particularly the Odesa region.

It should be noted that several incidents involving violations of Moldovan airspace by drones have been recorded in recent days. On September 8, a Shahed-type drone believed to belong to Russia also entered Moldovan airspace before subsequently crossing into Romanian territory.
