“Sitting across from Putin…” — Zelensky
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he is ready to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin face to face.
TodayPress TV reports that Zelensky noted that such a meeting would not be easy for him, but that he was prepared to do it in order to achieve peace and make progress.
“Sitting across from Putin will not be the best day of my life. But I will do it for the sake of results, to move closer to peace,” Zelensky said.
The Ukrainian president added that Kyiv is ready to agree to a ceasefire and move to diplomatic negotiations without any preconditions.
