Pezeshkian to travel to the US — BREAKING

The administration of US President Donald Trump has approved visas for Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to attend the High-Level Week of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

TodayPress TV reports, citing Axar.az, that the US Department of State provided the information.

It was reported that visas were issued both to Iran’s main delegation and to accompanying personnel deemed necessary for their activities.

According to the report, a number of restrictions will apply to members of the Iranian delegation. In particular, diplomats’ movement within New York City will be strictly restricted. In addition, in accordance with US legislation, members of the delegation will be prohibited from purchasing luxury goods.

It should be noted that the 81st session of the UN General Assembly began its work in New York on September 8. The High-Level Leaders’ Summit Week will begin on September 22.
