Lithuania prepares for war against Russia

Lithuanian Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius has said that his country would resist and fight if it came under attack.

TodayPress TV reports, citing the BBC, that Sinkevičius made the statement.

According to Sinkevičius, Lithuanian citizens feel a “constant threat” from Russia, including because of drones entering the country’s airspace.

“If we are attacked, we will resist. We will fight,” the Lithuanian prime minister said.

Sinkevičius also revealed that preparations for various scenarios are already underway in the country. According to him, one of the plans involves the continuous evacuation of elderly citizens from cities and preventing traffic congestion on the roads.

“We are considering various scenarios. Not all of them are widely discussed among the public. We are facing specific threats. This does not happen every day, but we feel them, and this is a real situation for us,” he said.
