Araghchi: We are concerned about the US but trust Armenia
Iran is concerned about the United States’ presence in the region but values its relations with Armenia and mutual trust.
TodayPress TV reports that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made the statement.
The minister noted that Tehran views any form of US presence in the region with caution.
“We maintain close ties with our Armenian friends and trust them,” Araghchi emphasised.
According to him, Iran is confident that Armenia will not take any action directed against Tehran’s security.
