Real Madrid legends reunite? Getafe target Sergio Ramos
Getafe president Ángel Torres has revealed that 40-year-old Spanish centre-back Sergio Ramos is on the club’s shortlist of potential signings.
TodayPress TV reports, citing AS, that Torres confirmed the possibility of a move.
“His brother, who is also his agent, has spoken to me. He is on our shortlist of potential signings. He could join us. We have been targeting this for some time,” Torres said.
According to the club president, head coach José Bordalás considers strengthening the wide areas of the attack a priority, as the squad already has six experienced centre-backs.
It should be recalled that the club has already added another former Real Madrid captain, Dani Carvajal, to its squad.
Ramos most recently played for Monterrey, which he left in January 2026. During his career, he has also represented Real Madrid, Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Transfermarkt, the defender’s market value is estimated at €800,000.
