News to delight Roma fans: Is the Emperor returning?

AS Roma legend and former captain Francesco Totti has not ruled out a return to the club known as the “Giallorossi”.

TodayPress TV reports that Totti spoke about the possibility in an interview with Corriere della Sera.

“Roma has always been everything to me, and it always will be. It is my second skin, perhaps even my first. Nothing compares to what I experienced wearing this shirt.

“Returning to Roma? Never say never,” he said.

It should be recalled that the former striker spent his entire professional career at Roma before retiring from football in 2017. He celebrated his 50th birthday in September.

After seven rounds of the current Serie A season, Roma sit third in the standings, just two points behind league leaders Inter Milan.
