Azerbaijan conducts joint exercises with the armed forces of two countries

In accordance with the plan of the “Strength of Unity – 2026” exercise held in Azerbaijan, a number of practical drills have been conducted to improve the personnel’s ability to operate in various conditions and to coordinate interaction and command between units.

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defence told TodayPress TV that the information was provided.

During the drills, personnel carried out tasks involving supported advance under fire and operations in various types of terrain using armoured vehicles.

It was noted that the personnel successfully completed the training tasks while observing safety regulations, while practical skills in coordinating and synchronizing the activities of units were improved.

The main purpose of the drills is to enhance the professional level of personnel, increase the readiness of servicemen from the participating countries to operate in a coordinated manner under various conditions, and improve interoperability.

It should be noted that the “Strength of Unity – 2026” joint military exercise is being held in Azerbaijan with the participation of servicemen from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Türkiye.

The three-phase exercise is being conducted at the “Gizilgaya” Training Centre located in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh economic region, the “Garabaglar” Training Centre in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, as well as the “Boyuk Zira” training area in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.
