Oil prices fall to $88 on global markets
Oil prices on global markets ended the final trading session of the week lower, TodayPress TV reports.
The price of November futures for Brent crude fell by $0.42, or 0.47%, to $88.10 per barrel.
Meanwhile, the price of October futures for US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell by $0.13, or 0.16%, to $83.40 per barrel.
The decline in oil prices is attributed to easing concerns over supply disruptions amid growing expectations that oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz will normalize and continued diplomatic efforts in the Middle East.
