President Ilham Aliyev sends congratulatory letter to South Korean president

President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to South Korean President Lee Jae-myung.

TodayPress TV reports that the letter reads:

“Dear Mr. President,

On the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Korea, I extend my sincerest congratulations to you and the entire Korean people on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan.

Relations between Azerbaijan and Korea are based on friendship, mutual respect and effective cooperation. We attach great importance to the continued expansion of our relations with Korea.

I believe that through our joint efforts, we will continue to strengthen the traditional friendship between Azerbaijan and Korea and our mutually beneficial cooperation in line with the interests of our peoples.

On this significant day, I wish you good health, happiness and success in your high state responsibilities, and lasting peace and prosperity to the friendly Republic of Korea.”
