Azerbaijan and Cambodia establish a joint working group
Azerbaijan and Cambodia have agreed to establish a joint working group.
TodayPress TV reports that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev made the announcement while delivering a joint statement to the press in Baku alongside Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet.
The President noted that Azerbaijan and Cambodia are good partners.
“We actively cooperate and support each other within international organisations. As for bilateral relations, we have also agreed to intensify our ties. We have established very good political relations and actively cooperate within the United Nations, the Non-Aligned Movement and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA),” the head of state said.
According to him, the sides also discussed opportunities to expand trade and attract investment.
“Undoubtedly, we need to determine what can be done to develop trade and investment. We discussed these opportunities in detail and agreed to establish a joint working group that will focus on the practical aspects of trade, economic and investment cooperation,” Ilham Aliyev noted.
