“We are in the first year of World War III” — sensational claim

Qatar Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed Al Ansari has said that the world may already be in the first year of a Third World War.

TodayPress TV reports, citing Clash Report, that Al Ansari made the remarks while discussing the current international situation.

He said that people living in 1940 or 1941 only understood which stage of the Second World War they had been experiencing years later.

According to Al Ansari, the world could face a similar situation if current international crises remain unresolved.

The Qatari official stressed the importance of diplomatic efforts to prevent conflicts from escalating.
