Türkiye’s leader calls for changes at the UN: “It must be re-established!”
“Let us accept that a structure in which the will of more than 190 countries depends on the will of five countries is neither fair nor capable of creating full confidence.”
TodayPress TV reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said this during the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The leader said that the UN Security Council should be re-established in line with the principle that “the world is bigger than five.”
