Russian general reportedly killed in Donetsk – CLAIM

Lieutenant General Sergey Milchakov, commander of the Russian Army’s 51st Combined Arms Army, was reportedly killed in a strike carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces against a Russian command post in Donetsk.

TodayPress TV reports that the information was published by several Russian and Ukrainian media outlets, as well as the “Atesh” partisan movement.

According to the reports, Milchakov is believed to have been killed in a missile strike on the main and reserve command posts of Russian forces in Donetsk on August 26.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that the main and reserve command posts of Russian forces in the Donetsk area were struck by air-launched missiles on August 26 and during the night of August 27.

The General Staff said that Russia’s losses resulting from the strikes were being clarified.

The Russian side has not yet confirmed reports of Milchakov’s death.
