Pezeshkian’s plane makes an emergency landing
The plane carrying Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian made an emergency landing in the city of Rasht while returning from an official visit to Kyrgyzstan, TodayPress TV reports.
Israel’s Channel 12 reported this.
According to Iran’s Mehr news agency, air defense systems were activated in the eastern part of Tehran on the evening of September 1.
At the time, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian was returning from Bishkek, where the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit was being held.
Iranian media reported that amid the activation of the air defense systems, Pezeshkian’s plane was diverted to another route.
