Drone secretly approaches NATO strategic facility and violates flight restriction

A drone has been detected near a US military base equipped with the Aegis Ashore missile defence system in the settlement of Redzikowo in northern Poland.

TodayPress TV reports that Poland’s Ministry of National Defence announced this on the social media platform X.

According to the ministry, the civilian drone was detected approximately one kilometre from the base and posed no threat to the facility. It remained under continuous surveillance by military air defence systems.

The ministry noted that the drone did not fly over the base, but its flight violated an area where the use of unmanned aerial vehicles is prohibited.
