Armenia’s new plans regarding Azerbaijan: Türkiye also included

Armenia is considering the possibility of purchasing gas from Azerbaijan and Iran.

TodayPress TV reports that Secretary of Armenia’s Security Council Armen Grigoryan said this in remarks to journalists.

Grigoryan said that if the opportunity arises and the issue is discussed, Armenia could purchase gas from both Azerbaijan and Iran.

According to him, Armenia is holding discussions with various countries to diversify its energy supplies.

“We will switch to electricity, purchase gas from all countries, strengthen nuclear energy, develop solar energy systems, and trade with all countries. In the near future, we will open the border with Türkiye and establish final diplomatic relations with Azerbaijan. There will be peace and cooperation among the countries of the region in the economic and political spheres. We will complete the delimitation and demarcation process with Azerbaijan in all possible areas,” Grigoryan said.

The Armenian official added that there is currently peace and a democratic government in his country.
