Controversial interview: Ronaldo insists he is second to none!

Cristiano Ronaldo, the striker for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr and the Portugal national team, considers himself the most complete player in football history.

TodayPress TV reports that he made the remarks in an interview with CNN Portugal.

Ronaldo said:

“If someone likes Lionel Messi, Pelé or Diego Maradona, that is a matter of personal taste. I respect that. But to claim that Cristiano Ronaldo is not a complete player... That is a lie. I am the most complete footballer in history.”

It is worth recalling that in late September, Portugal national team head coach Jorge Jesus sent Ronaldo to warm up ahead of the UEFA Nations League match against Norway but did not bring him on. The striker subsequently left the national team camp, and in early October issued a statement accusing the coach of breaking his promises.
