Ilham Aliyev approves Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan economic cooperation agreement
An agreement on the main areas for developing and deepening economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan has been approved.
According to TodayPress TV, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree approving the agreement.
Under the decree, after the agreement enters into force, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy will ensure the implementation of its provisions, while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will notify the Government of Turkmenistan that the necessary domestic procedures have been completed.
The agreement was signed in Baku on June 22 this year.
