Hakan Fidan to visit Azerbaijan on September 15

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will visit Azerbaijan on September 15.

According to TodayPress TV, citing Haber Global, Fidan is expected to meet his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov and other officials during the two-day visit.

The meetings are expected to focus on steps needed to reach the $15 billion bilateral trade turnover target between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, as well as issues and projects in the energy and transport sectors.

Fidan is also expected to hold consultations during the visit on the 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), which Türkiye will host in the near future, as well as COP31.
