Baku summit on the agenda: Cambodia thanks Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

TodayPress TV reports that the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided information about the meeting.

The ministers reviewed the development of bilateral relations and emphasized the importance of expanding high-level political dialogue, strengthening interparliamentary ties, and deepening mutual support on international platforms, particularly within the Non-Aligned Movement, the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), and ASEAN.

Prak Sokhonn thanked Azerbaijan for hosting the upcoming CICA Summit and wished the country every success in organizing the event.

The ministers also discussed cooperation in mine clearance.

They also exchanged views on regional and international developments and emphasized the importance of continued coordination and dialogue.
